2 May - End of Season Presentation Night at the Dogs

It came around so quickly, but Wimbledon Racecourse was the venue again, for our end of season Presentation Night. Again, it was another good night with a decent turnout. No one held on to their awards from last year. It was all change in the Player of The Season awards to, as it was last year.

Richie took the main prize, winning DCFC Player of The Season, as many of you expected, he also won Top Goal Scorer with 9 goals for the season - not bad for a midfielder. Could so easily have been double figures had one of those penalties gone in!

Damien's impressive season saw him take the runner-up prize, although unfortunately he couldn't make it. Matty finishes third and also wins Most Improved Player.

Gunes won the award for Most Appearances, after a 4 way tie between Ed, Matty, Richie and Gunes, was resolved by awarding it to the most committed at training and Gunes hardly missed a training session - that's commitment!

Allen won Most Valued Effort, another player who is always there, despite the fact he is often on the bench!

The roll of honour was as follows:

PLAYER OF THE SEASON: Richie Wall
Runner-up: Damien Huxdlab
Third: Matty Aitken

Most Improved Player: Matty Aitken

Most Appearances For The Season: Gunes Sengunes

Top Goal Scorer: Richie Wall

Most Valued Effort: Allen Ward
